Guide Review - Hotel Dominion 1912 Quebec City
The Hotel Dominion 1912's, 60 well-designed rooms (most with unobstructed views of the St. Lawrence River) are tastefully under - decorated. Fluffy, stark-white linens complement cream-colored walls with dark wood accents. Furniture is kept to a minimum by the clever use of a built-in desk/entertainment unit and a small side table that swings away from the bed. The room feels spacious, yet comfortable. Bathrooms feature black and white tiles, glass sinks and rainfall showers behind half glass doors.
The 24-hour cappuccino, coffee and tea bar is a hit as are the complimentary breakfast buffet croissants, gourmet fruit spreads, and Quebec cheese. Each room is supplied with luxurious robes, Aveda skin products, gourmet chocolates and two green apples served in a dark wooden fruit bowl.
