Montreal Restaurants - Choosing Restaurants in Montreal
Choosing Restaurants in Montreal

From , former About.com Guide

Choosing Restaurants in Montreal is a breeze. The most obvious method involves visiting those establishments that appear to be full and not just with other tourists!

Standards are generally quite high in Montreal restaurants and prices reasonable. Like most places lunch is the better deal.

Delis are particularly popular and are judged on the quality of their smoked meat. My personal preference is Swartz's on St. Laurent, just make sure you have your cash ready when you finally reach the cash register. No one has time for fumblers in this busy local institution! LEsters on

If you're out for dinner check out the Greek and Vietnamese places on Prince Arthur off St. Laurent where you can bring your own beer or wine - a real saving!
