Montreal Bike Fest

From May 25 until June 1, take part in the week long annual cycling event, Montreal Bike Fest. The grand finale weekend finds Montreal streets closed down for tour events that see as many as 30,000 cyclists taking over the streets.

¡Cuba! Art and History from 1868 to Today

From January 31 to June 8, 2008, the Montreal Museum of Fine Art presents a free exhibition of Cuban Art. Here's a good opportunity to see visual art that is not often available to the rest of the world.

The Exotic Universe

Until June 17, 2008, The Montréal Planetarium is featuring objects from our universe. See the displays on black holes, quasars, gamma flashes, supernovae and more.

Montreal Jazz Festival

June 26-July 6:In addition to Aretha Franklin and Steely Dan, The 29th edition of the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal has just added Leonard Cohen who hasn't performed in his native city for 15 years.

James Taylor and his Band of Legends perform pop music hits from the last 40 years on Sunday, July 6, 7:30 p.m. at the Bell Centre.

For the first time in 11 years, Montreal will host Chick Corea and his quartet including Lenny White on drums who will perform Friday, June 27, 7 p.m. at the Salle Wilfrid‑Pelletier. Tickets on sale Monday, March 17.

Quebec Triennial

From May 24th until September 7, 2008 The Musee D'Art Contemporain de Montreal will host over 30 Quebec contemporary artists. It's the largest ever of these triennial shows and includes artworks in a variety of genres.
