The Triennial Show:

Until September 7, 2008 The Musee D'Art Contemporain de Montreal will host over 30 Quebec contemporary artists. It's the largest ever of these triennial shows and includes artworks in a variety of genres.

From July 9 to September 28, 2008, at the Beverley Webster Rolph Hall, the third edition of the annual Music Video program will focus on talented, young Montrealers who use the music video format for experimentation and often a segue into a film making career.

Ju Ming in Montréal:

Until October 10, 2008 see 19 sculptures from a top modern artist from Asia. 14 of these can be seen at Beaver lake in Mount Royal Park while the others are on view along the quays in the Old Port area near Old Montreal. Free Admission.

Montreal Tam Tams:

Every Sunday until September 28, from noon until sunset take in (or participate) in the free drum concerts in Mount Royal Park near the Sir Georges-Étienne Cartier Monument.

The colorful spectacle of drummers, dancers and vendors has been going strong for 20 years.

Quays Promenade des Arts de la rue (Street Arts):

Until September 1st, 2008 catch free circus acts at the Old Port in Old Montreal. The action takes place three times a day at three venues: Chinese pole (Jacques Cartier entrance), Aerial Triple Rope Act (Jacques Cartier Pavilion), Hand-balancing on canes (the Pond).
