1. Place des Arts

Located in the heart of downtown, Montreal's Place des Arts is THE concert/theater venue for all the visiting big name artists and shows. It's also the home of the contemporary art museum.

2. La TOHU

Wacky performances, a circus school. Cirque de Soleil? It's all here on a reclaimed space in a LEEDS (Leader in Environmental and Efficient Design) certified building. ToHU is an organization that has given back a lot to the community where it resides in north west Montreal.

3. Montreal's Botanical Gardens

with over 22,000 plants species on hand and acres of beautiful grounds, Montreal's Botanical Gardens is a favorite spot for visitors and natives alike. Bikes not allowed.

4. Montreal's Stewart Museum

History (particularly social) comes alive at Montreal's Stewart Museum on Ile Ste. Helene's Jean Drapeau Park.

5. Montreal's Economuseums

How are things made? These small museums focus on one craft at a time so are an excellent choice for young children and hobbyists.
