The regular show is comprised of three events: the main exhibition, The Sky This Month and the feature show.
The exhibit focuses on new events and discoveries from the past 40 years, especially in Quebec skies.
The Sky this Month is a 15 minute presentation where an astronomer points out all the major visible constellations.
The main show takes visitors on a 30 - minute spaceship journey through the solar system, a meteorite shower and multiple galaxies.
Volunteers pass around samples of meteorites and build model planets to enhance the learning experience.
The "Extinctions" show suitable for ages nine and up takes place every afternoon at 2:30 p.m. The show focuses on how astronomical phenomena may be responsible for the disappearance of some species.
The show raises pertinent questions such as: Is there still a risk? Could we disappear? Will life continue to survive on Earth?
"The Quest for Galactium" is a multimedia show suitable for ages seven and up and runs Tuesday to Friday at noon. The exhibition explores the Milky Way as an adventurous mission.
Older kids and adults will enjoy "Our Galaxy: The Milky Way" on Friday through Sunday at 7:15 p.m., where participants explore the sun, planets, star clusters, star nurseries and gas clouds.
