It's Poutine Week in Montreal

Poutine is certainly the most renowned Québécois dish. Given its popularity, it's a wonder why we had to wait until this year before an event celebrating this fast food icon was put together. In February, thirty Montreal restaurants, from the most casual to the chicest, will honor poutine by offering variations that include grilled steak, lamb, foie gras, duck and pulled pork, and there's even a 100% vegan version to try. Poutine aficionados can vote on their favorites on the event's website.
